Why EchoNova

Understood, not processed.

Most voice systems hear Arabic and do not understand it. Fusha, perhaps. The dialect, which is how people actually speak, is lost on the way. EchoNova was built from the dialect up, starting with Emirati.

The dot

One dot changes the meaning.

In Arabic, one dot turns ink into news: حبر becomes خبر. The dialect is the dot of speech. A system that “supports Arabic” hears the letters and drops the dot: right words, wrong meaning. EchoNova is built to catch the dot: the dialect, the context, the tone.

Built from the dialect up

Fusha is one way of speaking, not the default choice..

Other systems start from Fusha and patch the dialect on top. We start where people speak, and build upward from there.

Why we exist
The problem was never our voices. It was the systems that were not built for us.
المشكلة ليست في أصواتنا،
بل في الأنظمة التي لم تُبنَ لنا.
Before you sign

Three questions, answered plainly.

  1. 01

    Where does the audio go?

It stays in the UAE. Processing, storage and the models themselves run here. Nothing is sent abroad to be understood.

  2. 02

What happens when the caller switches dialect?

The system detects the way of speaking and follows it. Nobody is asked to press 1 for Arabic, and nobody is asked to speak Fusha.

  3. 03

Who is on the other end?

Sada answers. A person can take the conversation whenever it needs one, with the transcript in front of them.
