Understood, not processed.
EchoNova builds the Arabic voice layer: systems that hear a dialect and understand it, and voices that speak it back naturally. Our first product is Sada, an agent that answers people in the dialect they called in. We are based in Dubai and we build for the Arabic-speaking world first, not as an afterthought.
A star that flares. A light that comes back.
A nova is a star that suddenly burns thousands of times brighter. Some of that light reaches us directly. Some of it hits the dust around the star, scatters, and arrives later, seen a second time. Astronomers call it a light echo: the same flash, returned after touching something.
That is the whole company in one picture. Every person who speaks sends out a small flash of light. For a long time in our region, that flash met nothing: a machine that could not hear the dialect, an answer that never came back. EchoNova is the echo. Your voice returns to you, in your language, understood. And to return a voice truthfully, you first have to listen carefully. Listening first is where the name comes from, and where the product starts.
نبني طبقة الصوت العربية كاملة: أنظمة تسمع اللهجات وتفهمها، وأصواتاً تتكلم بها بطبيعية.
حبر becomes خبر with one dot.
In Arabic, a single dot flips the meaning: ink becomes news. It is almost invisible, and it changes everything. A dialect is the dot of speech. Machines that "support Arabic" hear the letters and drop the dot: they get the words and miss the meaning. We build the intelligence that catches the dot: the dialect, the context, the tone.
Before the logo and before the typeface there was a painting, in the hand of the calligrapher Mahmoud Al Abbadi. The confident stroke of the reed pen, the free brush, the dot that completes a letter, the warmth of paper under ink: our visual language came out of it. Arabic calligraphy was the first technology to carry the Arabic voice across centuries. We see our work as a continuation of it, not a break.
- Trusted, not coldWe speak from knowledge, and we do not stammer when we know.
- Precise, not dryPrecision about human things: the experience, the result, the feeling.
- Warm, not cheapThe person first in every sentence. Warmth from the logic, not from slang.
- Simple, not shallowThe complicated becomes easy because we understand it deeply.
We say "people", never "customers". We mock the broken system, never the human on the other end of the line.
A voice layer owned by the people it belongs to.
Sada is the beginning, not the end. Under the product sits a wider ambition: to build the Arabic voice layer in full, not by translating a Western tone into Arabic, but by making voices that speak our dialects naturally. Because a voice is only understood by its own people, its source has to be real people from the dialect itself: not "data samples", but people who own what they say, are recorded with consent, and are paid when their voice is used.
One layer, four doors.
- SadaThe agent answers calls and messages in the caller’s dialect, carries out actions within the permissions you grant, confirms every important detail and hands the conversation to a human employee when needed.
- Speech to TextWritten the way it was said. Emirati stays Emirati; nothing is straightened into Fusha.
- Text to SpeechVoices with a hometown. Each voice was recorded by someone from the place its dialect belongs to.
- Sound CleaningHear the words, not the room. Presets for everyone, parameters for the ones who care.
Built in the UAE.
EchoNova is built in the United Arab Emirates by engineers, linguists and voice people from the Emirates, Egypt and further afield, who share one conviction: Arabic deserves technology built for it, not translated to it. The dialect is where the language actually lives, and it is where we start. Emirati first: the first voice, the first sentence, the first dialect we get right. Then Saudi, Kuwaiti, Egyptian, Fusha and English, with more on the way.
We are here to celebrate the language, in every dialect it is spoken, and to give it the voice layer it has been waiting for.
